Marie Digby: Ugly Betty Lyrics and my life in a hotel

Marie Digby
Ugly Betty lyrics

Ugly Betty open up your eyes

Today is gonna be a perfect day

Ugly Betty, what about that smile

The kind that makes the coldest heart melt

Oh how you bloom, under sunshine

What you are is beautiful

Far beyond what the others see

What you are is beautiful

Defined by love and the kindest soul

You’re beautiful, Betty you’re beautiful

Betty, you’re beautiful, Betty you’re beautiful

Ugly Betty, so what’s it gonna be

Will you stand up for yourself or will you leave

Ugly Betty, the stars align for you

The rest is up to what you make or do with it

And how you bloom under sunshine

What you are is beautiful

Far beyond what the eye can see

What you are is beautiful

Defined by love and the kindest soul

You’re beautiful, Betty you’re beautiful

Betty you’re beautiful, Betty you’re beautiful

Ugly Betty open up your eyes

Today is gonna be a perfect day

i do feel ugly sometimes…maybe it’s just me. or is it just the bite of reality?!!

reality does bite…maybe it’s a dog…or a piranha…or worst, a snapping turtle.

speaking of crabs ((did we even talk about this?)), i heard that if you get pinched ((not bite of course, according to Big Brother, they don’t have mouths to bite people)) it will only let go after it dies.

true or not?

TOPIC: A LITTLE INSIGHT ON HOW I LIVED IN A HOTEL

Living in a hotel opened my eyes to some things.

For example….because of living in a hotel—-it costs a lot to stay here so you tend to find ways to cut costs especially on food. For people like me who are experiencing the same situation, let me give you some techniques:

(1) If we have snacks for student government meetings ((CBA representative, Dorm Life Chair, Miss SU Ticketing Chair and Marketing Committee Member)), i keep the snack in my bag. And in the next morning, i place it on top of my steaming water heater and viola!!! hot meatbread….yum!yum! breakfast…. P.S. the SG should not know about this.

(2) I bought 2 meatballs in DMC and found out that i couldn’t finish it all in one meal ((they’re huge!!! but it’s funny how their sizes are not the same—maybe two different people made this….by hand!!! *looking at the servers and guessing who made meatball no. 1 and 2*)). So, i brought one home and in the next morning, i heated it the same way with the meatbread….and i mashed it….and put it in between pieces of bread and viola!!! meatsandwich!!!! i just need to add ketchup…i’ll steal from the hotel kitchen.

(3) i bought one big cereal box ((Honey Cornflakes)) and it only lasted for exactly one week…. but it fed me most of my mornings. I bought it last tuesday….and finished it today!! ((today’s tuesday)). this is not a technique, just sharing information.

(4) i used my ricecooker to cook my noodles…..and i’m planning to cook canned goods in it too…..have i ever thought of cooking rice in it?? nah…besides, the rice in this hotel is cheap!! six pesos for a big cup!!!

(5) in the morning ((if i’m not going to eat cornflakes)) and lunch, me and my roommates save money by eating in the hotel, each meal costs at least 26Php ((breakfast sometimes is lower)). and we only get sossy at night, we’ll make a calendar of food establishments we’re going to eat.

i love my life….

good night. good night.

oops, it’s still morning. *hyuk*
