19 years and almost one day old.
I’ve got a feeling this was a good day…I did not feel all that good. But before explaining that, I feel better if I would list the following people who greeted me on my birthday. Those with asterisk are the ones who had no knowledge it was my birthday, but forwarded messages anyway.
edward cullen ((in my dreams!!!—three days ago, I should have been a vampire at the same age Bella did))
hai…i love these people. but there’s a gaping hole in my heart. Stephenie Meyer describe it better than I do. It’s the same feeling Bella had—-a gaping hole when Edward was away, nothing left of him to remember. Months flew by—-October, November, December, January and they were all but empty pages in her life. Jacob merely pressured a cork into that empty hole. It felt good but the ache of expecting that someday soon, it will be pulled out.
yeah, I did wish for ((eyes rolling for a minute—deciding on which pronoun to use on this character that has filled up 6/19 [last year, it was just 4/18] of my life.)) IT to greet me. But IT didn’t.
I wish I could really convince myself that IT didn’t care if IT loses me, IT doesn’t see the need to be with me. And the sad thing is that IT refused to tell me what went wrong.
My cellphone came alive today.
But now nearing the end of this special day—-it stopped in a heartbeat.
Do you know one thing I also realized?
IT—I’m smiling just knowing I used this pronoun—missed 3 of my birthdays… out of 6 years. Half.
I suddenly brushed myself off the bad things in life and come to the good part.
So—-Sheela and Kristel, I made them stop for lunch in my house. Nica was still in Iligan—for pete’s sake, the people there are amazing….well, john ray wasn’t home too. He’s back in Dumaguete—writing stuff for his cursed nursing course.
We had fun catching up—-I mostly drank water during our conversation because my throat burned with words. I had two bathroom breaks during our chitchat.
I’m still expecting for my peppermint spray—-plus a permit!!!!
I finished the four books of the Twilight series—–in four days!!! Amazing huh? I was sure Kang would be proud of me. And she probably is.
I’m waiting for the fifth installment.
looks like Stephenie hasn’t finished with it.
KNOW WHY I CHOSE ORANGE FOR THIS BLOG ENTRY???
Because the moment I went outside our gate to get Kristel and Sheela—-all of us were wearing orange!!!
Kristel was wearing a very bright orange shirt, on it was a black vest—-I swore we fit that in Gaisano last summer, just see the pictures—, Sheela wore a shy orange—pale but still orange!!
I was wearing my orange PJ’s.
That was amazing.
